Artistics course

I had at first a passion for Nature and spended my free time on taking photographs: it developped my liking for colours and pictures' construction. Then, I learned the classical techniques of oil painting in the studios of the painters José ESPANOL (2003-2005) and Christoff DEBUSSCHERE (2005-2009) : portraits, flowers, still lives...
At the same time, I painted urban landscapes:
In Paris, I was interested by harmony between ancient buildings and contemporary sculptures or constructions: the "Geode", the "Halles", the "Stravinsky Fontain" near Beaubourg...
Aroud Paris, in many little towns, churches reflected in quiet rivers, wisteria's covered arcades, roofs of various shapes and colours gave me pleasant subjects.
Travels made me know southern towns and seasides.

I was searching for a geometric synthesis and tried to accentuate the foreground by thickening oil painting and adding sand and gravels.

One day, by chance, the enlargement of a cinaber crystal revealed to me the beauty of the crystals' world. I found all I was looking for: shapes fluctuating between rigour and fancy, colours glorified by light. Now, I want to know everything upon this subterranean world, stone- or ice-caves discovered by potholers and highlanders, hollows ornamented with crystals exploding under the miners' picks: mysterious world whose strange beauty is ruled by the Universe' laws, virtual landscapes whose poetry is revealed only by light brought by men.
Many crystals are as like as stars, flowers, ribbons; our dreams may fasten to them.

Technically, I do my best to represent the sparkling of crystals between the rude gangue, using glossy painting with sticking of pearls, glassballs, spangles, mosaics, in contrast to rough base, thicken with gravels, in a contemporary style.
